I was in Galway earlier this week for a memorial service.  There's a referendum coming up next week about repealing a constitutional amendment that was made in 1983.  The subject is abortion, and the posters - a feature of every Irish election - highly emotive.  The pro-life movement pulls no punches.

Back in London, and avoiding various weddings by reading 'Robot Ethics', edited by Lin, Abney, and Bekey.  Some excellent papers - a pretty thorough primer on this fascinating topic.
